Operation Zarb-e-Azb
YOU HIDE- LET US SEEK
Operation Zarb-e-Azb was a joint military offensive conducted by the Pakistan Armed Forces against various militant groups. Part of the war in North-West Pakistan, up to 30,000 Pakistani soldiers were involved in Zarb-e-Azb, described as a "comprehensive operation" to flush out all foreign and local militants hiding in North Waziristan.
Very first thing to see is four Indian captured tanks when you entered into the museum. These were captured in one of the greatest tanks battle fought in Chowinda near Sialkot in September 1965 and the fourth one was captured during 1971 War with India

The
museum is basically divided into two sections. The outdoor area has
the tanks, helicopters and other aircrafts to satiate the eyes of a
visitor. The view simply gives the gist of the grandeur of our Armed
forces. As soon as one step into the main entrance one could feel the
change in environment
. The first section in this area is the “Shuhada
Gallery” which has the carved names of all the martyrs since 1947
till 2016, to pay homage to our heroes for giving us a homeland

India and Pakistan have fought intermittently since 13 April 1984. Both countries maintain a permanent military presence in the region at a height of over 6,000 metres (20,000 ft). More than 2000 people have died in this inhospitable terrain, mostly due to weather extremes and the natural hazards of mountain warfare.

Arms and Swords are worth watching as well. Eeach section has a particular music system as well which make visitors feel that each and every artifact of the museum is communicating with them. The 3-D representation of the Check-post of Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed is another intriguing part of the museum
